What was enhanced with Sun Postpaid’s existing Non-stop LTE Sim-only Plans?

Sun Postpaid will be enhancing its Non-stop LTE Sim-only Plans that hard bundles 60 minutes of calls to Smart and TNT to both new & existing SUN Non-Stop LTE SIM-Only Plans 399, 599 and 799. Non-stop LTE Sim-only Plans 399, 599 and 799 will continue to have non-stop access to Facebook, Messenger and Google Search, an allocation of open access data that increases as the plan MSF increases, non-stop all-net texts, non-stop calls to Sun.

NOTES ON THE INCLUSIONS:

Open access data is on top of the Non-stop Facebook, Messenger and Google Search inclusion, it gives you access to all apps/sites based on the allocated GB of subscriber’s selected plan
Accessing Facebook, Messenger and Google Search won’t consume subscriber’s data allocation. Speeds of these non-stop inclusions will be up to 50 MBPS for the first 30GB per month and 256 KBPS after 30GB. This will reset every month.
All-net texts include texts to all mobile networks only such as Smart, Sun, TNT, Globe, and TM

Will this enhancement be a permanent offer?

The enhancement of Non-stop LTE Sim-only Plans is not permanent. This will be considered a promo that will run for 6 months from Aug 15, 2019 – February 15, 2020. The 60 minutes calls to Smart and TNT will be valid and will renew for every bill cycle for a period of 6 months from date of application/transaction/enhancement crediting for existing subs.

Who are qualified to this product enhancement promo?
Are existing subscribers of Non-stop LTE Sim-only Plans 399, 599 and 799 qualified to this promo?
How will they get the promo?

New Customers: Individuals who are qualified based on the existing Sun Postpaid credit parameters who gets approved for a Sun Postpaid subscription during the promo duration will receive this upon the start of their service contract with Sun Postpaid.
Re-contracting and existing subscribers: Re-contracting and existing subscribers with active service status and within contract during the promo duration are qualified to get/receive the enhanced plan inclusion. Existing subscribers with active service status and within contract will be determined via adhoc extraction. The discount component will be valid and will renew for every bill cycle for a period of 6 months - regardless if the account has already passed its contract lock-in.
Crediting of this enhancement will start from Aug 15 and will be completed by October 1 for all billing cycles.
Freebie will be subject to proration. Example: All existing subscribers will receive prorated freebie (60 minutes). If freebie was credited by Aug 15 and subscriber’s cut off is on Aug 16, they will get 2 days’ worth of freebie or 4 minutes’ worth of calls to Smart & TNT. Succeeding billing cycles will credit full 60 minutes but on the 6th or last month of promo validity, they will only receive 56 minutes’ worth of calls to Smart & TNT.

All existing terms & conditions, business rules, credit parameters for the Non-stop LTE Sim-only plans will apply.

Using the Service: The existing inclusions of the rate plan will be credited/provisioned accordingly (Existing business rules of which shall apply). On top of this, additional component shall be credited for calls to Smart and TNT.

Usage:

Voice Usage - Depending on the schedule of transaction against the account's bill cycle, the first and last month of the discount component may credit prorated inclusions. Subscriber shall be able to perform calls to Smart and TNT for 60 minutes (or depending on the prorated value) for the duration of the bill cycle without being charged with regular usage rate.

Others – Usage on top of the specified inclusions will be charged to the subscriber. Rates on top of plan inclusions across all plans are as follows:

I am a retention customer, can I avail of this?

Yes, all Sun Postpaid customers carrying old plans and are due for retention may switch to these new plans once they renew their contract.

I am still within contract and in the process of finishing it. Can I switch to the new NON-STOP Sim-only Plans?

Yes, you may switch to the new Non-stop Sim-only Plan with the same service fee as your current plan without extending your current contract period. Please head to the nearest Sun Shop or call *200 so that a customer service representative may assist you.

What happens if I finish the extra data included in my plan?

Promo is available in all existing sales channels of Sun Postpaid – Retails stores, Telesales, Emerging Channels & Satellite Branches.
