4 Electronic raffle draw will be made using random.org
RANDOM.ORG offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs. People use RANDOM.ORG for holding drawings, lotteries and sweepstakes, to drive online games, for scientific applications and for art and music. The service has existed since 1998 and was built by Dr Mads Haahr of the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College, Dublin in Ireland. Today, RANDOM.ORG is operated by Randomness and Integrity Services Ltd.
1 Sun Postpaid’s service generates list of qualified MINs for the raffle draw. Only the codes will be uploaded to random.org. These codes will be used to identify the winner.

2 DTI Representative will test and verify the database of the promo. SMART and a DTI representative shall use the list in an online electronic raffle, www.random.org. Each qualified registration will correspond to a reference number in the list
 
3 During the entry period and until the raffle draw, no person may alter the database in any way unless done with explicit permission and oversight from the DTI.
 
4 SMART will generate a list of raffle entries prior to the draw. A copy of which shall be sealed in an envelope and signed by a DTI representative for safekeeping of SMART and for verification of DTI at any time until all prizes are claimed.
 
5 The true random number generator at www.random.org will be used on actual draw. The true random generator requires a minimum number and a maximum number (number range), which will be derived from the raffle entry database. These two number will be entered into the true number generator. Then, the winners are drawn by clicking the “Generate!” button. This will be done 3 times to generate 3 unique codes that will be our 3 official winners for the raffle promo.
 
6 Once the winners are determined, they will be verified by SMART representative and the DTI representative using the database of raffle entries and the transaction records on the system.
 
7 Should any of the winners be disqualified, the next reserve entry will be the winner and will undergo the same verification method as #3.
 
8 A printed copy of the name of winners will be given to the DTI representative after determination.
 
1 Winners will be contacted and verified by an authorized Sun Postpaid representative starting November 8, 2019.
  • Winners will be contacted by a Smart representative via call out from Smart access code 200. They will be informed then on how to claim the prize.
  • Winners will also be contacted via registered direct mail to their Postpaid billing address.
 
2 Winners must present the following to claim their prize:
  • 1 Valid Government ID with Signature + 1 Non-Standard ID (Company, School, etc.), each must reflect the address that they have registered to the promo.
  • Active mobile phone with winning sim card
  • Should the winner opt for a representative to claim the prize, the same must be brought along with an authorization letter signed by the winner.
 
3 Raffle winners may only win once.
 
4 Once confirmed, winners will be endorsed to Smart Communications, Inc.’s authorized travel agency to work on finalizing their trip details.
 
5 Prizes (e.g. ticket, pocket money, etc.) must be claimed prior to flight and winners will be asked to sign an acknowledgement receipt to signify that they have already claimed necessary documents for their trip.
 
6 Prizes are transferrable but not convertible to cash.
 
7 Winners must claim their handset or for trip winners: tickets and pocket money in the form of cash at the nearest Sun Shop (See attached list for reference).
 
8 Prizes or tickets must be claimed by the declared winner. If the declared winner is not available, he/she may send an authorized representative along with the following:
  • Authorization letter
  • Valid ID of authorized representative
 
9 Disqualification Clause: All employees, directors and officers of Smart Communications, Inc. and its partners in the promo, as well as their relatives or any person or entity involved in the event, as well as family members up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible or disqualified to join the raffle.
