The corporate elite partied the night away in a celebration that will truly be remembered, thanks to Sun Business and BlackBerry®! An all-night, all-out party at Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City was held for distinguished guests and friends. To celebrate and make the evening memorable for all, BlackBerry raffled off top-of-the-line BlackBerry handsets and threw in one of the hottest gadgets in the Philippines right now – the BlackBerry® PlayBook™!

The party was launched with opening remarks from Sun Cellular SVP for Postpaid and LEC Marketing Mr. Ricky Pena and Sun Cellular VP for Business Solutions and Performance Analytics Ms. Michele Curran. Guests were serenaded by a local jazz band while enjoying their shares of the scrumptious dinner prepared exclusively to celebrate the event. A fiery dance crew showed off their coolest moves on the floor to set the party mood for everyone in the venue.

The first batch of raffle prize winners were then announced, as two BlackBerry® Curve® 8520 smartphones were given away to two very lucky party attendees! Ms. Abigail Tolentino and Ms. Imee Ocampo, BCO of SM Cebu each took home a brand new BlackBerry phone, courtesy of BlackBerry. To give the attendees a preview of what the BlackBerry PlayBook is all about, RIM's Director of Philippines Mr. John Leung took a moment to demonstrate the key features of the powerful tablet, starting from the music player, the camera and video specs, on-the-go document viewers, ebook readers, and the power-packed social networking applications including Facebook® and Twitter™.
